*Archives will be up soon.Okay, so my little hiatus is over. I was bored! Anyway, did you guys watch Project Runway last night? It was like SO nice (actually every episode is nice, but what the heck). For those who didn't watch, the task was to design a party dress for Nicky Hilton. All the designers were given a port folio with a letter from Nicky Hliton and two photos of her in two different party dresses. And at this point I have to say, I totally can't stand Marla Duran. She totally copied the Chloe dress Nicky Hilton wore (one of the dresses amongst the two photos). Oh, and I can't stand Santino either. He was like all,"I didn't win the Barbie competition, but I won the Nicky Hilton competition... and that's more important. Barbie's not gonna buy dresses from me, but Nicky Hilton might." Btw, the Barbie competition was the episode before the Nicky Hilton one. Okay, enough about project runway.
Went back to school today for this thing called iTheatre. It's for those girls from ELDDS who aren't in the musical. Along with a bunch of girls and a boy from Queensway, and a bunch primary 5s from this school apparently called Da Qiao Primary School (big bridge??), which I've never heard of. The guy from Queensway is like super shy among girls. I mean you can't blame him, all of us are girls, well except the trainer, so he's like really awkward and stuff. The rest of the girls from Queensway are like really nice. Well out the 5, I've only talked to 3, whom are quite friendly. One of them, I think she's called Ariena (I totally don't know how to spell her name, but that's how we pronounce it. I think.) She's like SUPER drama and hilarious. She has like the wildest hair, obviously nice, I've ever seen :] Oh yea, I don't get why they got primary 5s to come to this iTheatre too. I mean they're not from st margs primary and I don't see how they are related to us, the age difference and all. They're like really shy and stuff. But I give them props for daring to act in front of a bunch of secondary 1 and 2 students.
So our instructor is called Mr Stuart/Steward (Again another person whom I dunno how to spell the name but that's how we pronouce it). He's British! Haha. According to Grace David, his accent is what you say,
hot :D Seriously, he's a great actor in theatre. He can make you feel as though the mask is really like alive or smth. Oops, forgot to tell you that this is a 3-day course for acting in theatre and with
masks. We actually use masks! Okay, so when I first heard it was called iTheatre, I thought it would be really boring, but it's actually totally fun! It wasn't so fun on the first day, cause we didn't know the people from other schools. Actually, we didn't even know they were coming. So, surprise. But today was SO FUN. We used different European masks (these are the ones with very clear expressions on their faces). It's actually really quite uncomfortable to breathe you know. There are like no openings, except the ones for your eyes. So it gets kinda stuffy in there. It's kinda hard to act cause the expression on your mask never changes, well because it
painted on already.
After like two hours, we then use neutral masks. At least I think that's what they're called.. We each got one and get to bring them home!

Front. Looks rather alien-ish. Heh.

Side.

Back.
These are really fun to play with. Cause it has some sort of supernatural thing going on, you know, like the phantom of the opera thing. We got into groups of 4 and we did a little scence/dance with the mask and some relly creepy calming music. Haha. Dalvinjit, Divya, Joscelyn and I were in the same group :] Haha. It was really fun. Cause we were doing this kinda funny dance thing, where we were like four elements or smth. Then one part of the song, there was this 'boom' sound, and we pretended to clash into each other and fall to the ground. Haha. We were all laughing behind our masks. So fun. Okay, better stop here. This post's getting too long
